1. Phu Quoc Island is the most favorite domestic tourist destination this year. Lao Cai requires visitors from red-zones to quarantine at home or other places of accommodation for seven days. Visitors need to furnish a certificate proving they are fully vaccinated or have recovered from Covid.



4. Da Nang City, home to the Golden Bridge and My Khe Beach, always appears in the ranking of the most favorite destinations. The city is a convergence of many tourism potentials such as a 30 km long coastline, Ba Na – Nui Chua nature reserve, Son Tra peninsula with the rare brown-shanked douc langur. In addition, the city owns beautiful resorts, attractions and experiences such as Ba Na Hills, Ngu Hanh Son mountain, river cruises at night.

Visitors need to furnish a certificate proving they are fully vaccinated or have recovered from Covid.



5. Ha Long Bay in the northern province of Quang Ninh, famous for its limestone karst amid emerald-green waters. This world’s natural heritage bay possesses 1,600 limestone islands, undulating in green waters. The land are inhabited, possessing rich flora and fauna. Quang Ninh only allows in tourists from green and yellow zones meaning low and medium risk levels.



6. Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa), the city has long known as a top Vietnam beach destination blessed with many beautiful beaches, islands and bays. Khanh Hoa requires no quarantine or testing for fully-immunized domestic visitors.

In addition, the province also attracts tourists by the identity and life of the highland ethnic people and the annual flower season such as buckwheat, mustard flower, peach blossom. Situated around 300 kilometers (186 miles) north of Hanoi on the China border, Ha Giang has become an increasingly popular destination not just for its spectacular scenery but also narrow, twisting roads and mountain passes that kindle the spirit of adventure.

It allows visitors from orange or red zones but requires them to be fully vaccinated or have recovered from Covid and furnish a negative test result.



8. Hoi An town in the central province of Quang Nam, which reopened to domestic tourism in mid-November 2021, was eighth. This charming city impresses visitors by its quiet beauty on the Thu Bon River. Once a busy commercial scene, this place preserves the architectural heritage of hundreds of years ago, with the beauty of mixing between Vietnam, Japan, and China. The town does not require immunized visitors to quarantine though those coming from very high risk or locked-down areas need to furnish a negative Covid test result.

Mui Ne reopened last October, allows in tourists from low and medium Covid risk areas without quarantine.
