DAY 01: ARRIVE HUE

You will be picked up at Hue airport and transferred to your hotel in Hue

Your tour will start with the Imperial Citadel, part of the Hue Royal Complex which has been officially recognized by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The Citadel of Hue is situated on the northern bank of the Perfume River and built by Emperor Gia Long. It was designed for the exclusive use of the Emperor and his household. The Citadel encompasses 3 walled enclosures; The Imperial City (Hoàng Thành), The Civic City or Capital (Kinh Thành) and The Forbidden City (Tử Cấm Thành)..

You will next visit the famous Thien Mu pagoda in the east of the city. A dragon boat will take you to your hotel in the city centre.

Overnight in Hue

DAY 02: HUE – HOI AN

Breakfast at hotel.

In the morning visit the tomb complex of Tu Duc, close to the city centre of Hue.

Then take a drive along rice fields and beaches to Hoi An Ancient Town – passing Hai Van Pass and Lang Co, over a spur of the Truong Son Mountain Range that juts into the South East Sea, with spectacular views along the way (4 hrs drive).

Lunch in Danang. Visit Marble Mountain – well known Five Mountain and experience the beach view and Danang city from the summit

Upon arrival in Hoi An, check in your hotel and free time

Dinner at local restaurant and free time to explore the lovely old town of Hoi An on your own.

Overnight in Hoi An

DAY 03: HOI AN

Breakfast at hotel.

This morning, you will take a walk around old streets to discover the charm of Hoi An Ancient Town including Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese Assembly Halls, Sa Huynh Museum, old housesand the local market… Hoi An is an ideal for shopping and making tailor with reasonable price

Continue to a workshop where the lanterns are made. Here, you are given the instruction of how to make a lantern, its shape and the color of each. You will learn to make it and try to get a product by yourself as a gift of Hoi An for souvenir. It is a great way to learn more of a traditional Hoi An handicraft village in your trip at this charming old town

You will participate in a cooking class at a local restaurant to learn how to make a variety of Vietnamese dishes

In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxed boat trip along the Thu Bon River, which served as the central port of the ancient Champa dynasty

Free evening to explore Hoi An on your own

DAY 04: DEPART HOI AN

Check out and transfer to the airport for your onward flight
